Would you rather... get no gift or a gift you didn't register for?

I wouldn't mind either way. We aren't expecting gifts but would be appreciative of any gift.

A gift I didn’t register for. A gift is a gift. Although I may not need it, I’m going to appreciate the fact that they made an effort to even give me something 💕

I would rather receive no gift. We have spread the word that we are not registered anywhere because we would prefer to get no gifts. All we ask is people come to celebrate with us. We have a home and everything we need. We will have a card box since we know the general rule at weddings is to bring a card, check etc but if that stays empty, that is fine too.

Something we didn't register for, maybe it'll be useful- if not I'd return it.

Obviously not expecting gifts, but since it's still common for peeps to bring gifts to weddings for some reason, I would rather have something off-registry, because the person probably put some thought behind it.

I appreciate any gift given. Some off the registry gifts are actually the ones we use on a daily basis. I especially love our hand made calendar. It's nice to have one that works for all years and not just one.

We're going to get gifts we didn't register for anyway. We know who we invited. LOL.

A gift not on registry. I could always exchange it if we already had it or donate it.

I would be good either way. Some guests presence is gift enough. If we get a gift not on registry it means thought was put in to it or maybe they just didn't know how to use the registery.

I think I would be fine with either scenario. If someone went off registry and put thought into something we would enjoy I think that makes it extra special. As far as no gift, the only people we are inviting are those that we really want to share our day with and I would prefer they show up empty-handed than not come at all.

I would rather the gift I didn't register for. It may be something I didn't think of when doing the registry or something cool that I can make good use of. If not, I can always regift it lol 🤫

Something we didn't register for, for sure. Even if it is a totally basic wedding gift, that means it's a totally basic wedding gift I don't have to buy myself. 🤷

We don't want our guests bringing gifts, we don't want them to feel like they have to. We just want them to celebrate with us. So I'd rather then didn't bring anything. But if they did and it was something we didn't need, I would still love it because the gift is in the gesture.

Definitely a gift we didn’t register for, there’s so many thoughtful people that could probably think of meaningful gifts we wouldn’t have thought of Smiley smile

Something I didn’t register for. I think it’s still nice that they thought of us.
