Would you rather... get no gift or a gift you didn't register for?

I would take the non registry gift then to have a guest come empty handed. That means that person was thinking of you on your big day.

It doesn't matter to me, it's not about gifts for us, it's about celebrating pit love for each other with our families. i made a registry because I know people will ask what we want /could use. But nobody is required or under any obligation to buy from it or get us a gift at all

Either way we don't really need anything and are not registering for anything so no gift is expected but if so e gets us one it won't be from any registery

I wouldn't be sad either way. I really don't expect gifts. Neither of our families really do the wedding thing or know anything about etiquette. Plus we've been together for 10 years so I think in their minds it's kind of pointless or that we're just doing it for fun or don't need/want anything. I don't mind gifts not on the registry, though either. For my bridal shower my cousin just brought me the most beautiful tapestry I never knew I wanted! So they can be super fun surprises!

Gifts are not a big deal for us. Being apart of our day means the world to us

I think show up empty handed, while I may be a bit offended at first, the day is to celebrate our love with the people we love, so their presence is really all that matters!

I definitely wouldn't mind receiving a gift that I didn't register for but I wouldn't be upset to not get any gifts at all either.
