Would you rather... hand over complete planning control to your parents or your future in-laws?

My parents. My mom mostly since I am having the wedding at their house. Also my mom is better at planning events and getting things done.

Hands down, my parents. If his parents took control over the planning, it'd 1) never happen, 2) Be at the courthouse, or 3) Involve the backyard, which is not very scenic at all & pizza, maybe a BBQ... I'm good.

View Quoted Comment They weren't originally, but my dad has taken an interest in this process. He isn't one to show affection, so this has been a nice experience to see what his thoughts are. And as he's offered to pitch in if we need it, I think he's a little entitled to have an opinion. I also thinks he realizes I am the only kid of three of us that'll get married. So it's been sweet to see him like this. As for FH's parents...someone asked if they were throwing us a bridal shower/Jack-N-Jill party and their response was "If they want one, they can tell us when and where and we'll be there." 😒 It says a lot to me.

No.... this is a nightmare scenario

I think I would trust my family, they're very mellow headed & my mom knows my taste

My parents they know me better then anyone else honestly so I think they would do the best job making my big day special.

My parents by default cause my in-laws have passed on
