Would you rather... hand over complete planning control to your parents or your future in-laws?

Next question: Would you rather... have a dress that looks amazing in person but so-so in pictures or vice versa?

Hi Cinthya! That's a great reason to choose your parents! Are they already involved in the planning process?

Oh goodness... I'm super close to my in-laws, while my parents are thousands of miles away. It would be easy to let my in-laws plan it all, and they'll probably end up helping out with a lot of the logistics anyway, as long as our wedding isn't right next to my SO's sister's wedding--also the only daughter--which her mom has been planning with her since they got engaged a year in advance.

Alex and I are less of planners than his sister & her fiancé, though. If his mom is busy with the sis's wedding, my mom can probably come out for a few weeks? Maybe? My one brother will be moved out at college, and the other brother will be a senior ready to graduate, and Mom will be involved in all of that......

Goodness, this is going to be crazier than I thought if we still have a March 2019 wedding, since he hasn't proposed and thus begun any of these planning processes.

Hmmm... tough one. My parents aren't together anymore so idk how that would go, but my dad just planned a beautiful wedding for himself and his wife 2 years ago. I'm also closer now to my inlaws.... in-laws. Final answer.

That's a hard one. I think and in experience with my sibling u think if my parents and my in laws can work together why not have both set of parents plan....

My parents! We have a massive family so they already have the whole party planning thing down. They are also part of the reason I had all of my "big" stuff checked off within the first couple weeks of being engaged!

I'd pass to my parents. They are better with their money than the in-laws and have a better understanding of what my fiance and I are looking for in our wedding.

In my case my MIL is the best MIL anyone could ever ask for to be honest and since I'm having a destination wedding she decided to take the lead on it and she's been absoulutely AMAZING!

If I could hand the planning over to his mom and my dad, our wedding would be one for the books. But having to choose, I’d say my dad. He knows what we both like and even though he’s a cheapskate about almost everything he would put his personal lifestyle to the side to make his baby girl happy.

Neither, I did all the planning by myself & my fiance'. I wanted things the way I envision them to be, not anyone is going to take this choice away from me. I intend to get married One Time only.
