Next question: Would you rather... have a dress that looks amazing in person but so-so in pictures or vice versa?

My parents for sure… my FH lost his dad last March, and his mom is rather incompetent with every-day stuff, let alone a wedding...

I would say neither, due to the fact that his grandma lives out of state and my parents have different views on stuff than I do.

His parents probably. Mine aren't even coming but his have repeatedly said "It's your day and should only be what you want". Luckily we're paying for it entirely ourselves so we don't have to let anyone else have any say.

Hi Harley! That's great that you have in-laws that you have similarities with and that you get along with! Are they involved in the planning process at all?

That's awesome! I am so happy to hear that! Are they planning it together, or are they each in charge of different things? Smiley shame

I'd trust my side more than I'd trust people I haven't met yet.

My parents probably. My mother loved to do things like this back in the day. My in laws don't. Unfortunately, my mother has passed and my father wouldn't know a thing so maybe he would hire someone, lol.

Future in-laws are no longer alive. Parents don't want to do it and I would rather do it myself.

My mother - hands down. She knows me and she is nowhere near as conservative as my mother-in-law.

My parents. I've only been around his parents maybe 2 months worth of time total, plus she hates me. My mom would know exactly what I want, she would dazzle!!

Oh this isn't even difficult for me, my parents, every single time. My in-laws are divorced, and have been since FH was a freshman in high school, and things aren't amicable between them. They can put their differences aside for a short while, for the sake of their children, for example at graduations etc, and they have promised they will do so on our wedding day. However, they could never work together and plan our wedding, not without one of them killing the other.

I love the gifs!! I laughed so hard!!!

But for real, this is a tough one. I would probably say my parents, I'd like to think they would know what I would and wouldn't want.
