Would you rather... have 10 no-shows, or have 10 uninvited guests show up?

I would rather have 10 uninvited guests show up than no shows because we aren't inviting that many people. Plus, we have a full mass before the reception, which they are welcome to participate in. But I would be sending them on their way before the reception got rolling.

10 uninvited, they can always be asked to leave and I will be so mad if people no show without a good reason. I am paying so much money, at least let me know as soon as you do that you can't make it. There's plenty of my mom's and FFIL's friends/drinking buddies that didn't make the guest list that will gladly come eat and drink for free with very little notice. My mom had me take some of her friends off because they said they just wanted to come to the reception lol.

10 no shows!! I would rather have too many seats and food than not enough.

I'd rather have 10 no shows I guess. I can't think of anyone who would show up uninvited, but it's a possibility some people on FH's dad's side won't show up, but would still raise a stink if they didn't get an invitation.

I’d rather have 10 uninvited guests. Our wedding is at a hotel, so there will be plenty of people on the property that aren’t wedding guests. Our coordinator already said that her and the other staff keep an eye out for randoms who may try and wander into the cocktail area. All I’d have to is point them out to her and they’d be asked to leave.

The 10 no shows would bum me out because there’s no one on our guest list that we don’t want there. 10 no shows means 10 people that we love who we won’t get to see on one of the happiest days of our lives.

No shows! We did have some and it's frustrating, but our day was still beautiful.

I’d go with 10 no-shows, only because our guest list was huge!!

We were wayyy past our minimum spend so that wasn’t a worry, and since we invited soo many people the uninvited guests would be people we aren’t even remotely close to!

If my FMIL has her say we'll have a lot more then that that aren't on our invite list. -__-

10 no shows, may mean extra food but would definitely mean more space at the table.

10 no shows. I wouldn't want to have to end up paying extra day of because my venue noticed more people than what we told them.

I had this happen to me, i think more than 10 people didnt show up. i was LIVID because they didnt even send a gift so i dished out cash for no reason, coould have used that for something else

10 no shows - our room can only fit so many and 10 extra would mean 10 people can't sit.

Def no shows.. I can't imagine trying to get 10 extra people seated.. they'd have to add a whole extra table.. the nightmare.. not to mention the extra costs...

Neither would work well for me. I have only about 10 guests invited, so 10 no shows would mean no guests. 10 uninvited would not work because most of the venues I am looking at, the package I am considering is only 10-15 guests. If I had to pick, 10 no shows. I was mostly fine with an elopement but changed my mind because I thought Vegas could be fun for everyone.
