Would you rather...have a dress that looks amazing in person but so-so in pictures, or vice versa?

Funny thing is that when I see photos of my dress online on other girls I don’t like it. It looks like a different dress. When I went to my fitting and put on my dress I took pictures and so happy I am in love with it. On and in pictures.

Amazing in photos. That's what you'll be looking at for years to come. You're going to forget 90% of the day, the photos are how you relive the memory.

In person, I'm an in the moment person, and I'd rather look amazing on my day, pictures are just for the memories.

So so in person but amazing in photos. Those photos last forever

Pictures! I loved my dress thought it was gorgeous in person, but it was absolutely stunning in pictures. No regrets here at all! I felt like a fairy tale princess and my pictures are amazing.

I actually never thought about this! But I think better in real life. I think my dress looked beautiful in both!

Better in person. Sure there will be some pics, but others who attend won't have the pics to look at later, but will have the memory of the dress.

I am so excited about my pictures and think that will be a very important part of the wedding but given these choices I think I'd rather it look good in person so FH and I will remember how good I looked and felt that day

Im going with amazing in pictured. I dint think anyone would tell a bride she looks so so. So if i only look ok in person but AMAZING in photos i can always say "girl, u were drunk, of course i looked like that"😂

That's hard. I guess amazing in pictures. While I would love to look amazing to everyone at the wedding, what we will have to look back on forever, are the pictures and even the guests who thought it was so-so-looking at the wedding will look at the pictures that I will include with our thank you cards and say, "Dayum - that dress was amazing!" LOL

EXACTLY! and then years later you have your fabulous and not so-so pics!!!

Photos. I'd be so happy and nervous that I could look terrible and not notice. Plus my FH would think I'm perfect in anything. Also that way after I get the pictures back and actually see myself, I could think "Wow I did look amazing!!"

Better in photos. they are forever and expensive and if any one there thinks my dress looks sub par they can kiss my.. right foot. lol

Look good in the photos - as the photos are going to be the permanent images of the day.

Now why would I go vice versa. I would definitely want a dress that looks good in person.
