Would you rather... have a first look or wait until you walk down the aisle?

I am so torn on this decision and he doesn't have a preference. I love the shot of the initial reaction when the bride walks down the aisle, that's my favorite part at a wedding! I also love the intimate setting of the first look and just being the 2 of us. When speaking with our photographer she gave us some recommendations about logistics regarding first look or not, so that might be the deciding factor for us but I just can't decide!

A first look, we look at it as a special moment for just us, there isn't much time you get to spend time with just the two of us, so we are going to take that as our moment. Its also a good way for us to get the majority of the pictures out of the way so we can enjoy cocktail hour!

I would rather wait until I walk down the aisle but that's not going to happen anyway cause he seen my dress. OOPS! I was way too excited. lol

I've definitely been debating about a First Look moment or waiting for the walk down the aisle. FH is a fan of the "Long Wait, Big Reveal" as he put it, and as cute as I think a First Look would be for us, the anticipation of seeing his smile when the doors open for me to start my walk is something I think I've dreamed of in every wedding scenario I've had in my whole life, and I think I personally would miss having that moment between us. But I have seen some really cute first look pictures that have been twisting my arm a little bit!

I HATE first looks...takes away the special moment of the groom seeing the bride for the first time walking up the aisle, and also the people in the church seeing that moment too. I'd never tell anyone else what do to, but I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE the whole first look trend

First Look. Just the two of us before the ceremony.

We're waiting till down the aisle and I am getting pushback from my mom about it. It's a big deal to me tha he doesn't see me until we go down the aisle and my mom is harping about us missing cocktail hour.

We're planning on doing a first look so we can have some alone time before saying "I do" and hopefully have more time to mingle with the guests and enjoy the food during cocktail hour!
