I like the idea of doing a First Look so we can do pics before the ceremony and really utilize the time with our guests.

My fiance said the same thing. After interviewing 5 photographers, he changed his mind. He wanted to make sure that we had enough natural light (november wedding) and less stress on the day. Realistically - you will probably not be at the cocktail hour -- unless it is over an hour long or you have a small family. Our caterer is going to save food for us Smiley smile

    Congratulations!

Walking down the aisle, my sister did a first look and it was really cute but part of me wants the traditional no look. Probably the only thing we are doing that is traditional 😂

My future husband will not see me until I walk down the aisle. However, we will be getting pictures done with our backs together on different sides of a door and probably say a prayer before just so we can have a moment together before it happens. But we won't see each other until the walk down the aisle. 💕

We are still trying to decide. We are leaning towards first look. Our photographer says we still have some time to make our decision.

Walk down the aisle. We got lucky though, because I know a lot of people do the first look because they want to be at the cocktail hour, but while we're off taking pictures our venue gives us a private cocktail hour for just us and the wedding party.

We’re doing a first look for logistics reasons but I’m also so excited for that special moment with my fiancé. He isn’t one to show his emotions often and I think he will be a lot more raw when it’s just the two of us.

We are doing where he sees me for the first time when I walk down the aisle. However, I am doing a first look with my dad. I think it will make every moment of the day very special. The first man I ever loved gets to see me first and then my future hubby will get to see my for the first time second.

We’re doing a first look, partly to have some time to ourselves, but also so we can take bridal party pictures before the wedding and leave family pics during cocktail hour. It’s less stressful that way, and more time to have pics taken.

We are doing a first look because we want our personal time before it all starts. I do love the idea of seeing each other for the first time as I walk down the aisle, but I have such a long walk, I'm afraid I won't be able to see his initial reaction and emotions.

First look - this will help calm the wedding day jitters - and it will help with the photo timeline - decreasing that rushed feeling during our day.

I'd rather have a first look! Solely because I don't want to feel rushed or stressed trying to take photos during cocktail hour. I want plenty of time to create beautiful memories and have our photographer capture them before/during/and after the ceremony
