Would you rather... have a guest show up wearing jeans or a white dress?

M getting married on the beach so jeans would be ok for us and less tacky than someone else in my group wedding photo wearing white! haha

Definitely jeans. I’d prefer to stand out!

I guess I wouldn't be too bothered by either. I may think it a little strange, but it wouldn't ruin by good time at all.

Jeans. My wedding is in a barn so jeans wouldn’t be that far fetched anyway.

I can almost guarantee you half of my guests will show up in jeans. No biggie

Thst being said, I know at least one member of my step dad's family will come in jean overalls if he does come even though it's a formal venue.

White dress. We are having a really formal affair and if someone came in jeans, I'd be irritated that they didn't put in the effort to look nice for the occasion. Especially when my invite says "Black Tie Optional."

Yup, she wore her wedding dress.

She isn't big into dresses and spent all year travelling up until our wedding. She asked if she could have her dress shipped to our place to have it steamed and ready for the wedding. When I opened the garment bag I had a "Oh hell no" moment but just realized we were lucky to even have them at the wedding regardless of attire. She got some major side eye but it didn't bother me...I looked better

I'd rather see someone in jeans. Everyone knows wearing white to a wedding is a big no no! At least in my circle it is

I hate jeans at formal occasions. I'd say a white dress. EVeryone would know she wasn't the bride, so who cares.

Honestly I wouldn’t mind unless the white dress was very obviously bridal. But even then, everyone knows I’m the bride and that person would look silly! Our wedding is very casual so a pair of nice jeans wouldn’t bother me one bit.

I don't really care about either, but if I have to answer either/or, I would rather have jeans. I might side-eye shorts, but the dress code was pretty lax at our wedding.

I would rather a white dress-at least they've put effort into looking decent. Plus, my dress was gold, so 🤷🏻‍♀️
I was very disappointed my brothers, and a quite a few of my guests showed up in jeans as though it was a kickback.
