Probably 300. I grew up with a smaller community in grade school and high school. We also have a lot of family we are close with.

My wedding is right around the 300 mark. Those who chose 30... how did you cut people from the list?

30 because 300 means you won’t see some of your guests

300, the more the merrier! We have big families and so many loved ones, 30 just wouldn’t cut it.

30! I wanted small from the get go. FFIL sent a list of 98 names with addresses the day after we got engaged. Ultimately we told each parent (FFIL, FMIL and my parents combined) they get 30 invites, and some how we still ended up at 200 and I want to cry over the bill!

I would rather have 30 guest. I would rather change the venue because at least for me the date we picked or pick has a meaning and purpose.

I wanted to keep things small and nice and quiet. FH on the other hand had no requests for the wedding except he wanted to invite everyone. So instead of my vision of 100 or less we are looking at 250 to 300 people.

    30. I feel a more intimate family/friend wedding is more momorable than 300 ppl in which I probably wont even see at my wedding.

    30. This is my second wedding. Most of the guests I would initially invite never showed up for my first one, which was ultimately a joke, and our guest list was well over 350. We had 9 show up to our wedding, due to last minute changes made by the groom, and 12 to the reception. We divorced 3 months later. This wedding, we refuse to invite those who aren’t involved. My son is 8, and IMO it’s not fair for him to think the only time family should act like family is for weddings and funerals. We’re inviting ONLY those we speak to regularly, and keeping EVERYTHING simple but spectacular (in our eyes).
