Would you rather... invite 30 guests or 300?

When it comes to the size of your celebration, would you rather keep things intimate or go all out with a big bash? Would you rather invite 30 or 300 guests? Photo by Palos Studio Next Question: Would you rather... change your date or change your venue?

Had 120 guests at 1st wedding, eloping for 2nd. Clearly, in the “30 guest” camp if anyone were invited to the 2nd rodeo ❤️

30 all the way, but with large families that is not possible unless you don't invite any of your friends. We will be lucky to stay at around 80.

When my grandparents got married (1940), they invited the entire community. About 350 people attended. That used to be more common awhile back when weddings were held in someone’s yard - but sounds so expensive and stressful now!

Our guest list is at 305, so I'm in the 300 boat! Our families are huge and I couldnt imagine not having them there!

That’s why the pre-wedding sandwich in the bridal suite is so important! B&G don’t typically get to eat at cocktail hour and it’s tough to have a full dinner when you want to dance! My brother ordered sandwiches for the wedding party and everyone ate about an hour before I walked down the aisle. I’m angry and impatient when I’m hungry so it really helped me through the hourlong formal ceremony. My XH and I would have forgotten to eat first without the reminder!

300 because 30 doesn't even cover my side of the family. I don't want to leave anyone out.

That's so awesome that you grew up with such a large support system! 250 sounds like it's going to be a fun time!

That's what's so hard about the guest list is that with more guests come more costs! Hope planning has been going well!

We had 170, and if we could have had more (and afforded to invite all of them lol) We would have EASILY been ok with 300 people! Our families throw BIG parties. It's what we do. So 300 people would have been AMAZING! 30 people is like a holiday dinner for us (for reference, 30 people doesn't even cover the number of cousins I have on one side of the family!)

I'd have to go with 30! We are inviting 60 people anyway.

I have a big family and he has a big family. So we are definitely at 300 and that is no kids allowed at our event.
