Would you rather... invite all of your co-workers or all of your parents' friends?

Next question: Would you rather... get married on a Thursday or a Sunday?

Neither. I have a few co-workers to invite, but not all of them! My FH agrees! We are both uncomfortable with having to invite obligatory family friends we don't know.

I love all but one of my co-workers & I love all of my parents friends so if I couldn't have both I would pick my parents friends. Sounds bad but this one person is such a downer.

Co-workers. My parents friends are an absolute no for me. This isn't their wedding why do they need to be there anyway? lol

Parent's friends. My sisters and I threw them a surprise 40th anniversary party a few years ago and the entire guest list including all their friends and our whole extended family was about 40 people - and 25 were family. However I work with a LOT of young people (still in HS or just barely out) that LOVE to cause drama and issues which I do not want or need at my wedding. Plus they keep pushing for invites to both the wedding and anything else that I'm doing with friends even though I'm 20 years older (though maybe because of it cause they seem to think that I would pay for them to join us).

Hi Emily! That's great to hear! Will you already be inviting any of your co-workers or parents friends?

I’d rather invite my parents’ friends because at least my parents are close with them. I don’t know about you, but I’m not super chummy with everyone from work. I at least know most of my parents’ friends. I’m fact, we are inviting my future grandmother-in-law’s friends and my future father-in-law’s friends

That's a great reason to choose your parent's friends over your co-workers! It's better to know your guests than to not! Smiley smile

If I could choose just a few then I would certainly pick coworkers. I am close with few of them and they would love to come to my wedding! But if it was either all my coworkers or all parents friends it would be the parents friends because at least I know most of them. If it was coworkers that would end up being like 300 more people.. lol

I would rather invite the ones closest to me so that would be my friends and family but not coworkers

I don't have any co-workers, and sadly like my parents, most of their friends have passed away. Most of my guests will be friends

Definitely my co-workers! They would be way more fun than our parents' friends, lol.

Hi Dorian! I find that many people who prefer their parent's friends have known them for a longer time, and therefore would prefer them to attend their wedding! Smiley smile

All of my co-workers, because I see most of them everyday. They know me pretty well, my parents friends know me, but not as well as my co-workers. Plus my co-workers are closer to my age.
