Would you rather... knock over the cake or trip walking down the aisle?

We might even have cake, so I'll pick the cake! If I tripped I would be worried that I damaged the dress and that would really throw me off for the rest of the ceremony.

I'd rather trip. I'd probably piss some guests off if there wasn't any cake

Trip walking down the aisle. I probably will trip and I will laugh at myself with everyone else. No cake would be seriously disappointing.

Lol definitely knock over the cake because we're only having a cutting cake for decoration. Plus, I don't really care about the cake.

Pittsburgh cookie table all the way!

I would rather trip walking down the aisle. I'm a bit of a klutz anyway, so it wouldn't surprise anyone, and would probably get a chuckle out of everyone. Besides, if I'm embarrassed later, at least I still have my cake!

    I think I’d rather trip!! 😆

Someone would have to clean up the cake and then there would be no dessert for my guests!

I'd definitely take the tripping. Everyone already knows that I'm not too graceful anyways.

Bye bye cake! I think the more realistic and possible option would be for me to trip/slide though.

Both would be laugh off-able, but a trip down the aisle would ruin the pictures and our expensive videographer shots, whereas a cake would be disappointing but would be just one funny/bad expression moment. Probably have someone run out and get sweets to make up for it!

Oh my gosh - I was going to say the same thing!! True story - we are not having an aisle, we are just gathering, having people sit then we will start the ceremony. I would totally trip coming down as aisle!! There will be photos near a Japanese Garden over a pond (rocks involved) and I can hear my non religious self praying; "Please don't fall into the water. Please don't fall into the water."

Tripping as the cake falling would affect so many guests. Our reception is at a awesome top shelf restaurant so we could easily order desserts for folks though!! (Let's hope we don't have to do that!!!)

This is really hard. Probably trip down the aisle. It would lighten the mood so I wouldn't be so tense anyway.

Trip walking down the aisle. I'll be surprised if I don't, actually.

I would gladly trip going down the aisle. But any damage to the cake (or any of the food) is NOT acceptable.

Down the aisle since the cake is not going to be cheap and then no one gets desert if the cake is knocked over

While no one would be surprised if i did either, I would personally prefer the cake . I would be so upset if I tripped because with my luck I'd probably get really hurt, or rip my dress and that would break my heart. as for lack of dessert , we are doing Viennese table so there would be other yummies.
