Would you rather... plan your wedding in three months or three years?

Last question!! Would you rather have only three months to plan your wedding, or be planning for three years? Hope you had fun answering!! For more posts like this one, check out: Are you innocent or guilty? , Are you into it or over it? , and Splurge or Save?

Seeing how mine is more than 2 years away I'll take the three years more time to plan and save.

3months if I had the money otherwise 3 years would be ideal to save. No one wants to be engaged that long

3 months! After 2 months we pretty much had the vision of everything we wanted, and if we were under that time crunch, we would have made it happen! Our engagement is a year and a half, and it feels extremely long! we're already 90% done with 9 months left to go! 3 years just seems like an eternity to be planning a party!

Three months! I’m currently planning mine in six, so since I am nearly complete as it is, three shouldn’t be too much worse. 😂

Three years. I would want to have time to plan my dream wedding, and 3 months probably wouldn't have been enough to get the venue I wanted.

Three years is a reeealllyyy long time though.

Oh my God. My future in laws tried to make us do this. They moved to Germany from the US 3 months after our engagement and won't move back for 3 years. I refused, weddibg was planned for 1.5 years later. I figured if they were going to come back for anything it should be their sons wedding.

I think I would choose 3 months though. Maybe it wouldn't be the wedding I envisioned but at least I would be married and be able to get my family started.

3 months. Omg 3 years deciding what food and table linens and silverware and djs and flowers. That sounds like the most miserable 3 years. Like I got stuff to do instead of planning a wedding. I hated wedding planning and I did plan mine in 6 months. It turned out really beautiful.

I will never understand how people say they love wedding planning. It was 😩. But once I picked everything I was pumped!

By wedding day I will have waited 3 1/2 yrs. I have no regrets. My FH and I have accomplished so much in that time personally and financially. Everything will be paid for by WD, from my engagement ring to everything for the wedding. My FH wants me to have everything my heart desires for our day so waiting has been so worth it. It also taught an impatient woman that patience is defiantly a virtue.

3 months. I’m too impatient for long engagements 😂 we are planning ours in 6 months. Originally planned to have a little over a year but I just wanted it sooner.

With no concerns for money, I would pick 3 months. I have been with my FH for over 5 years, I am anxious to be married, no way I want to wait another three years. I barely want to wait a year, lol. I am planning for a Vegas microwedding so that could quickly be done in three months, or an elopement if it's not possible to get everything together in time. My only regret would be not much time to lose weight.

Definitely three years. Even though the wedding was totally planned in the first couple months of our two year engagement, I've really enjoyed the excitement of what's coming. Theoretically, I only get to be a fiance once and for a limited time so it is nice to hold on to. After the first six months, time started flying by!

3 months if we made more money. 3 years if we made the same as we make now. We're doing it in 6 months and its been extremely stressful already

Three years more saving/planning time just don't start to second guess everything.

    3 years definitely.

I don't know how the Duggar's seem to plan these 1,000 people weddings in 3 months. Granted they don't do a lot of the stuff we (average/normal) people do, but still. Seems like a way too short of a time period.
