Would you rather... splurge on your ring or your honeymoon?

Honeymoon make some great memories

Honey moon, just because we can always do a ring upgrade! I know you can also always take a trip but at some point it’s not really a honeymoon and just a family trip atleast in my mind.

Ring 😂 I would hate to “upgrade” my ring later in marriage, but you can always take a nicer trip.

I think it would depend on how much extra cash we're talking about

If it's a significant amount to make a difference in an engagement ring, then maybe. But if it isn't, then definitely the honeymoon. Ultimately I love the engagement ring my fiance chose for me, so I'd choose to spend that extra on our honeymoon

I say honeymoon. I was blessed with a beautiful ring so I'm glad I was not the decision maker. But I can definitely say that splurging on a honeymoon would be cool. I guess I always think that rings can be upgraded. I know several couples who upgraded their rings as they made better money or learned how to save more diligently.

I would splurge on our honeymoon. My fiancé and I are compatible when it comes to how much we want to travel and the crazy things we want to do so I would definitely splurge on the honeymoon!

Honeymoon, the ring is nice and you wear it every day but a honeymoon will give you memories to share for a long time. Plus you can get good deals on rings and get really nice ones for decent prices.

Aww that's great, what kind of style is it? Good point though, I know a lot of couples who upgrade for their five or ten year anniversary!

I'm so torn!! Probably ring. We don't plan on going on our honeymoon until months later due to the season so we will have extra time to save anyways

Honeymoon. My fiance had 4k and i told him not to slend it all on the ring. I would rather 1k or less on the ring and to put the money toward the venue. (This way we could save more for honey moon). I got a previously owned ring in wonderful condition (which doesnt bother me whatsoever bcuz it wss resized and looked brand new!) I got the exact ring I wanted without the guilt of it being so expensive! If only i knew where I wanted to go for the honeymoon lol

I would say honeymoon because part of the ring that I wear is my Mom's wedding band I wear it as an enhancer. And the diamond I passed down to my daughter for her sweet 16.

Honeymoon! FH picked the perfect ring already, and I absolutely adore it! It’s very me. I wouldn’t trade it for anything else!! Plus, I’ve been bitten by the travel bug and LOVE adventures, so I would use that money towards an amazing honeymoon that could make lasting memories!

I would splurge on my trip. I am not materialistic and am not into big gaudy things. Babe knows my style and i am sure he will get what fits my style and hand. and for the trip, well he finds all the deals and gets great discounts on alot so to have that extra money for whatever would be nice.

Honestly though, take the extra and put it into our home. lol

Honeymoon! I have tiny hands so big rings look and feel awkward on me, and I'm not a fan of diamonds. I love my tiny little amethyst ring that cost under $100, its perfect and its completely me. I would rather the money go to an amazing trip.
