Would you rather... splurge on your ring or your honeymoon?

I would vote for the honeymoon but FH would probably vote for the ring.
I love my ring, it’s perfect. But it’s not the original one he picked out. He fell in love with one WAY over his budget. So if he could go back and splurge I know he would. He still brings that ring up and we’ve been engaged almost a year!

Ring because I’m going to wear that for the rest of my life. I can always take another fabulous vacation.

Honeymoon. Creating and sharing memories during the honeymoon is more valuable than splurging extra on a ring in my opinion.

This is kind of a hard one for me. I wanna love the ring I have, but I know that the ring isn't what matters most when it comes to being married. A honeymoon, in my case, could be camping in the mountains and I would be perfectly happy. However, it would also be nice to do our honeymoon somewhere special and awesome where we could do a lot of different fun and relaxing activities. I think I would choose the honeymoon and then later down the road we could save the money for my dream ring, if I wanted that.

I want the ring and ill find a way to make the honeymoon work out.

Honeymoon! A ring can be lost and/or replaced, but an experience cannot. Imagine all the stories you'll share and things you'll learn. You'll never be the same again.

Honeymoon! I am not a big bling person. Simple is my style so I rather take a vacation to remember.

Honeymoon, It's something you'll always look back on and remember happy moments, and It's something that people constantly refer to in their lives (in my experience). My fiance got me these beautiful rings that are absolutely perfect for me that I am so in love with and he ended up getting them for a steal so he didn't spend an arm and a leg but I couldn't be happier with his choices.

The honeymoon for sure but we are already going to a Sandals Resort AND I literally just ordered a ring from Kay that I pick up on the 30th so I guess I’m getting the best of both worlds? 😌

Your ring will last you a lifetime and you may not have the money to upgrade it later. Splurge on the ring! Start a wedding website on the Knot for your honeymoon fund, that way you get the best of both worlds!

My life motto is buy experiences not things.
So definitely the honeymoon!! We aren't having a grand honeymoon this year. Maybe just a night or two in a hotel bc FH doesnt have a whole lot of vaca time.

Probably the honeymoon!... We have a 2 year old son, so we are splurging on our honeymoon!

Honeymoon, because my definition of splurging could be different than others. I could still have a nice, beautiful ring that I adore for $5,000 or less.
