Would you rather... splurge on your ring or your honeymoon?

Next Question: Would you rather... get married two months or two years from now?

The ring is just a symbol of your love I'm not much into glittery things our bands are very inexpensive.

Honestly, the ring. We can save up for a nice honeymoon after the wedding but I'm going to be wearing this ring every day of my life & will hopefully pass it on to my kids someday! I want it to last a lifetime and plus what girl doesn't love bigger diamonds (I'm not materialistic at all, but a girl can still love diamonds!) Smiley smile

First of all.... I'M not the one splurging for my ring so........ 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️......

But... For the question's sake..... The honeymoon.. duh!

That's a ONCE in a lifetime thing. You can even come BACK from the honeymoon and buy a "bigger" and "better" ring! 😏

Definitely the honeymoon. I'm perfectly happy with a plain rose gold band.

Honeymoon. I'm not one for fancy things as I tend to lose them. You can always upgrade a ring later, if you really want to, but a honeymoon is a once in a lifetime memory. There will be other vacations, but only one official honeymoon.

Yes so true!!! I've always been into upgrading the ring later down the road for an anniversary or something!

I would have to say splurge on my ring due to you can have simple honeymoon and always take another one later on down the road.

Honeymoon. We opted for cheaper wedding bands, about $300-400 each. And my engagement ring is like a $20 sterling silver ring. Fancy jewelry isn't important to me though. But we are definitely splurging on the honeymoon.

And based on my previous experience, an expensive ring doesn't make a marriage. My first marriage we didn't take a honeymoon. We took a trip about 8 months later but it definitely didn't feel like a honeymoon. It felt like a vacation. I had nice rings though which I wish I didn't spend so much money on.

And as my FH said, "you can't pawn a memory". That's just our feelings on it though and what's more important to us.

The honeymoon, we both have manual labor jobs where we can't really wear jewelry to start with, and I have a tendency to lose/break things. We plan to do tattoo rings for that reason, so I'd rather a nice trip for us and our daughter.

Definitely the honeymoon. Rings do not have to be extremely expensive to last years maybe even a lifetime, plus you can always just upgrade it. But a nice start to the marriage, like an amazing honeymoon, is something to be embedded in our memories forever. Not to mention my partner and I are both avid adventurers Smiley heart

We still want to invest in good rings but honeymoon totally wins me over if I had to choose.

Honey moon. Because of what I’m going into for work, I’m gonna have to wear one of those qalo silicone rings so it’s dumb to spend a ton of money on a ring I’m barely going to wear

I'd rather put it towards the "honeymoon" (aka second wedding just for us) than to the ring. We already know which ring to get, so the price is set.
