Wrinkle free chair covers and table clothes

Is it physically possible to fold a satin chair cover and keep wrinkles to a minimum? I purchased my covers and have to transport them 8-1/2 hours away to our DW. What can I do to minimize wrinkles??

My recommendation would be to roll them! It reduces wrinkles significantly
