Writing on wood crates...chalk markers or chalk paint???

That sounds so sweet, do you have a link to the poem? I googled it and a bunch of different ones popped up

I posted the one Im using. Im using the second sentence and the last long sentence. Splitting it up onto 8 crates. When my FH and I met on our first date I said it was kismet so this poem has always stood out to me.

I personally would say paint. Will you be using stencils to make your sign? Also, be careful if you choose the markers because some brands of chalk markers dont work too well on wooden surfaces unless its super smoothe. Sorry, I don't know too much about how wooden soda crates. But, the chalk markers colors really pop when you use them. Also, will it be in color or just white or black?

Here's an idea of what the bottoms will look like. Old wood. I may end up painting the bottom of mine so they will look nicer. Im thinking white writing on the wood?? Unless that doesnt stand out good??

Thank you! Was thinking of making it part of my vows at first but I know I wouldnt be able to say it without crying. Lol

I painted mine with a small brush and acrylic.
I've used a paint pen on some more recent for smaller fonts.
I used transfer paper to put the letters on (see the unfilled photo)

Acrylic paint is easy to use on wood .... and looks good when it's done
