I don't know when to start going dress shopping either. I feel like it might be too soon but I have a general idea of what I want so I want to start looking.

I was trying to find a way on here if you like message back and fourth so I don’t have keep coming back to this post ha I couldn’t find it.

Most places that I've been looking at say to allow at least 8 months for the dress to be delivered after you order it. Or maybe it was 6 months? I have see somewhere that says 10 to 8 months for shopping, delivery, and fitting.

I am having a super small wedding, we are inviting like 40 people but think about 30 will show up, so I am not doing a bridal party. I have an idea of who my MOH would be but I am not sure if she will be able to come to the wedding. If she doesn't want to or can't do it then I'll be super sad but I couldn't ask anyone else to do it.

I could use a buddy! I'm getting married April 12, 2019. My mom is really into wedding talk because she didn't have one and I'm here only daughter (plus we're best friends), but I totally feel like I'm boring my other friends with the talk.

I've booked a venue, chosen colors and that's about it. We're having an engagement party in March, but it's very small. Just immediate family and our bridal party.

Anyone gone dress shopping yet? I have my first appointment in April and I'm terrified.

So we’re about the same on where we are. Only done my venue and got my colors and picked my bridal party but haven’t asked them yet. Oh and the engagement party ours is this April 14th - a year from our wedding date . I have not gone dress shopping but I really want to... maybe I’ll do that next month. We got engaged in May. We are from New Jersey and we wanted a wedding on the beach so we had to pick our venue pretty quick. We booked our venue in August.

That’s funny my Fiancé was the one who thought of it too lol. We got engaged dec 30, we just booked our venue today & they are having an open house this Sunday with all their main vendors so we will probably pick from a few of those there! I’m in Texas!

It’s the place With the most dresses I love and I worry that if too many people are there with too many opinions I might get flustered. I only have three other bridesmaids besides my MOH so maybe I’ll take them to another appointment that’s more for fun and less stress.

I love those colors! I’m doing a little similar. A plum, dusty lavender, sage and a cream.
My FH wants to wear a navy blue suit so these colors looked best while still including the lavender (my favorite flower and one of my favorite colors!)

Hi guys!! We should really find a way to create a group that would be so much easier ! But it looks like we are all somewhat on the same planning page. We have our venue booked; colors and bridal party picked. We are using burgundy, ivory, gold, and black.

Have any of you guys thought about any decor or centerpieces and if you want to DIY!? I am like dying to start trying stuff out and see if any ideas come to life !

I want to do simple greenery and on each table have some sort of variation of white candles, simple white peonies, glass votives or rustic lanterns, some surrounded by greenery, others set atop a slice of wood! (Super hot right now and therefore pricey! We're just going to use our table saw to cut these big logs we have, and then sand the tops and slap a coat of polyurethane on them! Perks of starting early amiright?!) Some pieces might just be ceramic vases or clear vases with a potted plant. Going for very natural yet like... Rustic glam!! What about you!?
