The venue we chose has a bridal expo with all their vendors but unfortunately it happens in January and I missed it by a month I’ll probably go next year, but hopefully they’ll give me a list of vendors beforehand. My ceremony isn’t in the state I live in so I’m not sure about anything there !

I am having a very small wedding, at most 45 invited with about 30 coming because a lot of the FH and my relatives are older. Plus the FH is from a different state so we aren't expecting a lot of his relatives to make it. Mostly because the FH's mom is going to put on a party either before or after the wedding. I have so many feelings about this but I won't get into it now.

Anyway, the reason I ask is there are other websites that have a list of venues for small weddings. I think it's IntimateWeddings.com. I'm not sure. They had a lot of venues that were so beautiful but in random places so that may help you out.

Okay, I think I added everyone on here as a buddy. LOL, if I didn't let me know.

Status - I don't know if my mom signed the contract for the venue yet. She is at this quilting convention (I know, it sounds so weird but yes they do have conventions for that) and I don't want to bother her because she didn't get to go last year but she didn't mention anything about sending the check or contract to the venue coordinator when I had dinner with her last Tuesday. I should have totally asked her then but I wasn't thinking of it. Ack!

Has anyone else had their ring appraised yet? I tried to get mine done awhile ago but the jeweler wouldn't do it because my center stone is a Ruby. I need to call other places to do that but I've not be really good at finding a place.

I know! I think it is so super weird that you can message vendors but not the people that you made friends with on WW. I know you can post on people's walls but I don't really know what that does. *shrug*

My FH asked me if I got the ring apraised the other day and I was like, oh yeah, I still need to get that done. Blah! There are not enough hours in the day!

After we got engaged I wanted to have an engagement party, but things have just gotten crazy and we decided not to. It's a lot of money and we rather save what we can. I am so excited to go dress shopping I can't wait. I am doing different shades purple, but I want my girls in different dresses, styles that they are comfortable in. Also I have a maid and matron of honor so I was thinking of having them in beaded dresses or something. Yes we should figure out how to do a group chat. I don't get notifications so I have issed missed a lot from this conversation.

Ugh finding my wedding dress size was a mess! I’m usually a size 3 in shorts and small in tops but my dress size!! Oh my I couldn’t zip up the back in a size 6!! So I’m a 8 size... r dress sizes different than your normal wear sizes

Yes! Don't freak out wedding dresses run in different size usually WAY smaller then the size you typically wear! I have not gotten my ring appraised yet. I had an issue with my setting, I have a halo setting and kept losing stones so I actually got a completely new setting because it was getting ridiculous!! When are you girls planning on going dress shopping? I find myself wanting to do wedding things all the time and idk what else to do lol! Your centerpiece diy ideas sound beautiful! Our venue provides them so I don't need them.

I am not even going to look at my dress size. Lol! I am a plus size woman though so the size doesn’t matter to me much, the fit and if keeping my boobs in.
