Update: The venue vendor is booked! Phew! I got the e-mail on Friday. I'm so relieved because I know April is the start of wedding season and I didn't want to loose my date.

Yes! I'm so excited. My venue did give us a list of preferred vendors but I really want to do Italian food from an Italian restaurant. For everything else, I don't know. I am thinking about going to a wedding expo.

I’m almost a year away next Saturday ekkk!! We’re slowing booking got the venue, dj, bartender, my dress, flower girl dress & enagagement party is next weekend!! I’m excited!! How’s everyone’s planning going??? Hope it’s stress free that’s what I’m trying to avoid haha

I went dress shopping for the first time a few weeks ago and I'm actually going again tomorrow! Our next big thing is flowers which we are going to focus on over the summer and my fiances still needs to ask the guys. I asked my girls a while ago because one of my bridesmaids lives in china. I have my venue book, my alcohol provider booked, my photographer booked, and my DJ booked! I know what photo booth I want but have not contacted them yet. My venue also does catering so we will hopefully be working on a menu soon! What about you, do you have bookings underway? We are not having an engagement party, we really aren’t group types of people 😂😂 funny since I’m planning a wedding. We have been together for over 6 years and have a 3 year old together and we both also brought other children into the relationship (2 boys, one girl). We kinda feel like skipping out on the showers and parties other than the wedding. We will probably have bachelor and bachelorette parties but that’s about it lol. What about you? Engagement party? Bridal shower?

My fiancé and myself have been together for 11 years and have 2 children together - 10 year old boy & 5 year old girl. Yeah I’m not the social butterfly either but a few drinks I’ll be there haha!! We’re having about 40 people there so it should be fun plus it’s kid friendly... so far this is are only party we got planned later on like 6 months maybe bridal or whatever. Where do you live?

No I didn't find a dress yet, but I have narrowed it down to certain things and I now have a clearer picture of what I like. Ahh that is so exciting congrats!!! Lol yeah that's hot. I'm praying our wedding day is beautiful and nice, but not in the 90s! lol I'll settle for mid 80s!

Ya it’s hot but we’re having it northern Arizona which right now is 75 degrease so we’re hoping that will be our weather for the wedding. What style dress r u thinking about doing? My dress is from essence of Australia. It’s really light flowing. I can post a pic here I’ll find it.

Yeah i never thought I would like the more fitted styles and always thought i would go for an Aline or ball gown. But when i put them on they seemed to swallow me and did nothing for me. Wow i love your dress it is beautiful, you are going to be a stunning bride. Yes i have another appointment next week. I also have an appointment for a trunk show at the last salon i went to, but the designer is way out of my budget. It is actually martina liana who makes Essenes of Australia dresse but her own collection is pricy. So I'm going to most likely not go to the trunk show.

I am trying to plan this wedding while working, getting my psychology degree and a forensics certificate, along with raising my children and keeping up the house! I'm going to try and stay ahead of the game lol. My DJ does not offer a photo booth but that is fine because I want the mirror me photo booth and we only have one place around here that offers it! My grandmother use to do flower arrangements so I will just need to buy the flowers and she will set them up. Someone else will have to make the bouquets, my grandmother said hers would never stay together lol. I am thinking calla lilies for the main flower in at least the bouquets, they have become my favorite flower! We live in Montana what about you?
