Hi Fellow April 2019 Wedding Buddies!

I've not been able to log on for while. I basically have done nothing since my last post here but I finally went dress shopping this past weekend. I think I'm going to be going with an a-line dress with a sweetheart neckline but I still didn't find anything that I really liked. I swear I tried on like 30 plus dresses, it is so hard because either dresses were way too big or way too small so I couldn't see them fitting properly.

When my friend tried on her dress we all just kind of new that was going to be her dress. I mean, several of the dresses looked good on me but none of them made me feel like I really wanted them. Sigh! Anyone else having this issue?

Hi all, just found this group. Our wedding is on April 13 2019. Yay! In Panama. We live here so technically not a destination wedding however several of my family members will be traveling from Canada / USA to attend.

We have our venue, photographer, and decorator. Still to do: dress, hair make up, bridesmaids dresses, suites, dj, cake.

Not sure if I'm.behind or not, but man it's stressful lol

I’ve really been trying not to get to stressed about wedding related things so I’ve just been doing a little each month. So far it hasn’t been to much for me... we just ordered save the date magnets so we will be sending those out by end of the month. Are you guys doing STDs?? .. but I have venue, florist, dj, weddings dress, STD’s, food and hote blocks. Next month we will book make up and hair... on that note

Question??? So I was planning on paying for my bridal parties hair & make up ( 1 MOH & 2 bridesmaid & flower girl ) but do I also include in the package to pay for my MIL & my mother???

ugggh everything by the wedding as been stressful in my life... moving. New job and selling our house !! Gosh the last few months my fiancé has put up with a lot from me... I’ve had tons of meltdowns ha but I’m trying to hold it all together!! Ha

Thanks Tiffany! How exciting that we are both almost at the 7 month mark! I see you mentioned to the Panama bride, Stephanie, that you just ordered Save the Date magnets. That's currently my big to-do list item. The issue is that we didn't do an engagement shoot so we don't have any of those high quality photos to use. My mom really wants us to do a photo STD but I would prefer a non-photo one (we don't find ourselves photogenic!) so that accounts for why I haven't ordered them yet, but it's frustrating, I just want it done!

I am going back and forth about paying for my bridal party's H&M (I have 8 bridesmaids uughhh!) due to expense. I would not include my mom and MIL in that, I don't think. But I think it would be a really nice gesture to do so.

Do you know how you plan to wear your hair? I have booked a makeup artist for myself but no hair stylist yet.

I have def. pinned some hairstyles on Pinterest... but I haven’t yet booked my hair and make up person I think I’ll wait to do that next month... I kinda know what I’m waiting my hair to look... half up do with some kinda of loose braids on both sides. What hair style are you thinking of?

My wedding date is April 14th 2019, Palm Sunday! So far I've booked everything except my florist; my previous florist died, R. I. P. First thing I booked was my wedding planner and everything was booked from there. I have my venue which includes my cake my liquor and my ice sculpture, I have my DJ, photographer and invitation vendor, my hairdresser, my makeup artist and my nail tech. Already purchased my dress , shoes and earrings. Before I hired my event planner I had ideas about what I wanted but she really moved the process along for me.
