Hey ladies!!!

There are so many new posters and so many posts lately that I haven't seen one pop up, so I apologize if this is a double. How are you all doing with your weightloss/fitness!?

I started a DietBet for the month of January and was able to lose 4% of my body weight which is exciting! On January 30th, I started the Whole30 (don't crucify me). I'm on Day 5 and I honestly cannot believe I've made it this far. I'm so excited. It's probably the hardest plan I've ever followed. I had a 3-day headache from caffeine and sugar withdrawal but now I'm actually feeling great! I love that I can prep meals for the week and always have something healthy to grab. I don't ever feel hungry!

My dress still would not zip at my fitting this past weekend though so I'm having a corset installed in place of the zipper. I need dress insurance because the Whole30 is intended as a system reset, not weightloss, so I'm not expecting a drastic change there.

Maybe I'll just splurge and do it... I'd love to be able to know the people on the DietBet page for encouragement.

It is actually not that bad right now but I suck at eating the 3 meals thing. It has become where I am never hungry... probably also because I am sick of eating the same thing over and over. I have a dress fitting tomorrow. Last time I went it was little snug so Im excited* to see if there any difference.

I have lost 3.5lb in 2 weeks with my fitness pal. I am trying to drop 15 total, so nothing major. A knee injury in August is keeping me from working out like I used to, but I have been doing pilates 2x/wk, cycling 3x/wk, swimming 2x/wk, and daily yoga. I also have daily PT to work on my knee. I already have a very healthy diet - mostly fruit and veggies, lean protein, whole grains. I treat myself to 1 square of good dark chocolate with my nightly cup of tea Smiley smile

Moving out of the city has been tough too. I used to work at a yoga studio (unlimited free hot classes!) and go to a spin studio. Now I have neither near me.

I'm seriously considering joining the dietbet, but I didn't make it to my last one and I was so disappointed. I was literally at like 95% to goal 1 week out & then somehow gained 5 pounds back the last week. WTF.

This week I started getting up early to do fasted cardio & have a plan to do other workouts in the evening (weights, stairs, yoga, etc). So far, I haven't done the evening workouts, but I have done the morning ones for 4 days straight!

Also getting back to diligently planning & making meals, as well as tracking calories & macros on MyFitnessPal. My goal is to just be consistent for the next four months and see what happens. My bachelorette party is March 18-20, boudoir photos on the 29th and wedding on May 28th. So hopefully I'll be able to shed some more fat and tone my muscles.

I've lost 9 since January 1, sort of following the Zen Bodi program Monday through Friday and doing what I want on the weekends.

I've been doing Beachbody's 21-day-fix, a daily shakeology and using myfitnesspal since January. In addition to the 21DF workouts, I've now taken up Zumba in the last week and have gone 5 times in a week!! That's like the most ever. I can't say how much weight I've lost because I refused to weigh myself after the holidays, but I do feel stronger, more in shape and the Shakeology literally says what it says it will. Curbs hunger, my dry scalp is gone, my skin is clear and it gives me energy and curbs cravings. It's expensive, but I'm kinda hooked.

edit: Can't have one post that I don't edit because I put apostrophes where they don't belong Smiley smile

I have this stupid problem. When I'm dieting, I don't work out. When I work out, I don't diet.

THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO WORK TOGETHER, BETHIE. Grr.

I haven't worked out yet this year and at the end of 2015, I was working out for an hour every. single, day, Maybe multiple DietBets will actually get me to work out AND diet. Probably not.

I started following the workout calendars from Blogilates, last month I did the beginners and this month I started with the regular one. I'm not sure yet if I can follow it 100%, but I'm doing my best. I'm mostly trying to get up earlier and do it before work (but I love sleep!).

I'm down 5lbs since we got a scale (early jan), up 0.7% muscle mass and down 1% bodyfat. Not sure how accurate the results from the scale are, but I always do three measurements and they show the same each time.

I'm also trying to cook healthier, FH has lots of stomach problems, so I'm cutting out lots of stuff and seeing him not being miserable after is a great motivation of course.

Zoe, if you love eating with your hands, try making fresh rolls. You can pack all sorts of stuff inside, I'm mostly doing them with Tofu and all kinds of veggies and greens and making a hoisin sauce based dipping sauce with them.

Zoe- I was tested for celiac and didn't have it, but I get extremely bloated when I eat grains, stomach pains, etc. You can think what you want, but I've been to many doctors before. My body just does better without it and I'm healthier for it. It's just hard and I fall back into terrible habits, mostly stemming from emotional/compulsive eating. Also, celiac and "sensitivities" seem to be genetic. I have multiple family members that are celiac.

Why am I just seeing this post! I am on day 4 of eating healthy. The first three days was the worst! I had the only withdrawals. Today is a lot better and I have the motivation I was lacking prior. I'm starting the fitgirls JumpStart challenge on Feb 8th where I will work out and continue to eat healthy for 28 days straight and so on. We got this!

I have lost about 25lbs since August! I have a personal trainer, but really didn't start eating right until October. I want to lose 10 more before the wedding, but that's in a month. Technically, I'm not suppose to lose anymore weight, but I'm adding a corset to my dress so I'll be ok, right? lol
