Yay or nay for wedding program fans?

If there's not shade and it's in the 80s, then yes, they'll be nice to have.

I'm having a beach wedding with an expected high in the upper 70s, I'll be DIYing program fans too. My plan is to have them on every seat that way if someone forgets to pick one up from a basket, they won't be miserable during the ceremony.

My wedding is July 1 in RI. Outdoor ceremony at 4 so could be hot. Planning to keep it a very short ceremony but still I'm thinking of making something like these

I think putting them on chairs would be better. People might miss the basket.

I think keeping them in the seats will encourage more people to use them. A lot of men won't grab it out of the basket but they might use them of they're on the seats.

I'm in California and the only programs I have Found useful are the fans when it's warm outside.

We're having an outdoor ceremony also and the price for fans are ridiculous indeed. I bought plain Wilton fans from Joann's, it was $6 for 24. We're going to print and put them together.

-- I also bought baskets, but putting them on the seat is not a bad idea.

I've seen DIY fans and they were cute but you could tell someone made them. I suggest to let a professional do it, unless your really good at DIY. The fans will be great everyone took one at this wedding that I attended.

I would use one on a hot day but then throw it out immediately afterwards. Don't spend too much on them but they're a nice gesture for sure!

Super cheap and easy to make, editable in word. They looked exactly like the photos.
