We are two years out as well. Wanted to make sure I didn’t have to compromise with things just because they were already booked for my date. October 7th 2023!

We’re doing Friday the 13th October 2023 😈🎃 I definitely don’t think it’s too early because some vendors we’ve reached out to already have our date taken! It’s less stressful to find vendors with your availability & it’s also less stress on the wallet with more time to pay for things!

We are doing the same! Deposit was put down as of 9/18, and I signed and sent the contract yesterday. We have help from our parents but need to pitch in financially so we need time to save. Id love to get married in 2022 but it isn't possible so 2023 it is! Now the stress begins trying to save up enough for everything we need.

Yes! We got engaged on Sept 11 of this year and our wedding venue/photographer/videographer are already booked for August 19, 2023! It's nice to have a longer engagement for financial purposes as well as not feeling too stressed about getting everything done in a short amount of time. It would, also, be impossible to find the things that we wanted for our wedding for 2022 (many weddings have been postponed because of COVID so 2022 is all booked up)

View Quoted Comment Well, don’t really have a planner. We booked the venue which has someone who works with you. She has already been pretty Hands on and helpful. She’s sent us all of her suggestions for music, photography, all of that. Everything else we are planning ourselves. This will be my second wedding and I used the wedding wore checklist and I found it to be pretty helpful and cover all the bases.
