"You may now kiss the bride" But how?!

How do you plan on kissing? I watched The Wedding Singer last night and it got me thinking about what kind of kiss! lol. So many possibilities, open mouth, closed mouth, tongue, no tongue etc... I've seen pictures where it looks like people are swallowing each others faces but I've also seen pics...

I've seen pictures where it looks like people are swallowing each others faces but I've also seen pics where it looks like the lips are barely touching. How do you want to be kissed on your big day in front of everyone?

FH can be a sloppy kisser...we have pics of us having a good time (alcohol) with sloppy kisses happening...

I've warned him that we'll be in front of our older family and we need to keep it totally PG!! Ironically when he isn't drinking, he's actually very anti-PDA so I think we'll be fine Smiley smile

I'm just going to throw caution to the wind and do what feels natural in that moment if its a chaste kiss or if it looks like we are trying to eat eachothers faces, I wont care because that will be our moment for us to cherish

I think I wanna leave it up to the passion of the moment. I'm not gonna stand up there make out with him, but I don't want to plan it out & the kiss be cut short because we're afraid to offend someone..

Ya know, even if it is a little tongue/lingering/pda, I dont understand why guests may get offended? I know there's older couples that may carry the presumtions of saving yourself for the wedding night. But at the same time, I'm sure they also can understand in the happiest moments passion can take over. Tongue may be too much, but if that's how you kiss, that's how you kiss.... I might say "oh wow that's alot" lol but as a guest, what can they do? "how dare you show your sinful lust!" lol There's chilling it down out of respect, & then there's not being yourself cuz someone might get offended.

I'm trying to talk my husband into dipping me when we kiss!

At our courthouse wedding, it was just a closed mouth kiss. I would feel weird making out in front of people. Lol.

Making out was the last thing on our minds during the ceremony...it wasn't sexual at all. Our kiss was more about sealing our commitment to each other for the rest of our lives. We didn't practice it, or even talk about it before the wedding. We know each other well, and we knew exactly what the other was thinking right at that moment. We've shared many moments together, but none as big as this. Our kiss was for US...and everyone around us disappeared for those few short seconds. I'll never forget it. Something like that, you just can't rehearse... :-)

I HATE PDA and I HATE being the center of attention so I get really nervous when I think about my wedding day. FH is well aware that there will be NO tongue whatsoever and it will just be a simple kiss. My family will all be there (including small cousins) so I want to be appropriate.

We have actually talked about this and practiced our kiss. Nothing gross but more than a peck for us. He is gonna be my husband I tihnk I can give him a nice kiss that is tasteful.

Well, I have trouble with the whole concept of, "You may now kiss the bride." Because in most instances, one of you is in fact kissing the groom, not the bride. LOL

When we got married at City Hall in December, we had all our family there & few days before I was wondering how will we kiss?

Well it came very natural & very nice... & it was very special moment... so dont worry about it, just go with the flow

Well I will probably be crying, he will be laughing, so I just hope our lips managed to kinda get it together. We practice ALL the time though so I think the kiss is one thing I wont need to worry about Smiley smile Probably just kiss like we always do. No lizards though Smiley tongue
