I'm 22 and he's 21 but we've dated for 5 years! We haven't received any negative feedback to our engagement at all! I think as long as you've dated a good amount of time and both mature enough for marriage, you're just dandy!

Im getting 5 from his mom and according to my parents thats not going to be good enough for them!

If parents want them to marry they should help out?! How about if you, as an adult, want to get married you figure out the finances yourself. If someone OFFERS to help, great. But if not, you're on your own.

Ya with othwr expenses and other things my fiance needs for his business i be 40 by the time i could get married and i want kids

Your opinion is very immature. Adults should pay for their own parties. You are marrying DH, not the parents.

I'm 23 will be 24 when FH and I get married. Tons of love and support from everyone so far, not anticipating any negativity. I'm still young but definitely feel ready to be married. Would have never felt this way at 18, 19 or even 20 or 21 though.
