Your favorite date ideas!

I have been thinking about what to get my husband for our one year wedding anniversary. It isn’t for a while, but I love the idea of one year of dates and I’d like some time to put it all together. Ill put together a scrapbook of one date per month and then pay for the tickets or put together the materials. Do you have any creative or unique date ideas? Or a date you really loved? I’m looking for some simple and inexpensive things, and some more elaborate things to sprinkle in there. TIA!

We just did “Operation City Quest” for our 3 month anniversary (we celebrate every month). It was a lot of fun! It is a city wide scavenger hunt you do through an app on your phone. It takes about 2-3 hours and then we went for dinner and drinks afterwards. Here is the link https://www.operationcityquest.com/

I love the idea of a year of dates scrapbook and adding in tickets to places. Does your guy like those kinds of things too? Just asking because my FH would tell me he loved it and then it would go on a shelf and he'd never look at it again. I know this because I've made comic books and all kinds of albums and things for him and they just sit on a shelf. SO I've stopped doing it. I would LOVE it if he would make ME one LOL!

If he LOVES stuff like that (and you know him best!), go for it! And here are my date ideas that are inexpensive:

Museums (esp. little ones in little towns)
    Romantic drives
    Cooking a meal together
    Thrift Store Hunting
    Fishing

One of my favorite dates we went on this summer was a trip to the batting cage followed by snowballs or snow cones depending on what you call them.

For sure, we’ve just moved a lot and our places aren’t around here. But we definitely have some old favorites.

He really enjoys experiences over physical gifts so I think he’ll love it.
