So, it just occurred to me that 3 months from now I'll have a totally new name and that I haven't practiced my new signature! 🙆🏾‍♀️ I loveeeee how I sign my name now, I've got like the perfect A that I took time crafting over my adult years lol. Now I'm going from Ash to Jackson and I'm not feeling my J's. I need more practice for sure 🤣

Have you guys starting practicing? How do you like your new autograph? (Because clearly we'll be like mini celebs signing everywhere lol)

I haven’t even thought about practicing!! But I would say do what feels natural even if its not the most beautiful, consistency is key.

I'm used to writing my last name like how a doctor does since I don't really like it so having to actually TRY with my name has been interesting lol. I practice my new name and my oldest son's new name (he's being adopted by my FH). Going from Carson to Tanner is better to me because my first name is perfected so having a somewhat easier name to write in cursive (Making a r in front of a s is so frustrating lol) makes me happy lol.

Aww that's awesome...I love that! And lol I'm telling you is that S that throws it all off, I'm glad it's not just me 😂 I can get that J A C and barely the K out but soon as I hit that S it goes right to scribbles 🤣🤦🏾‍♀️ We'll get there, just keep practicing lol!

It explains how I feel. I told hubby I wasn’t changing my name-but he can’t even read my stupid doctor handwriting when I leave a note on the counter-even if it was my last wishes 🤣

I've definitely practiced because my cursive is not the best. My FH said just make the H then scribble cause that what he does but I kinda want it to at least be somewhat legible. I still need practice.

Great question..I haven't even tried yet. Both of our last names are strong names and dont go together lol but I refuse to drop mine so I'm hypenating it. So my new name sounds like a sentence but either way I love them both .....but I definitely need to practice my penmanship a least for marriage license to me that where it counts.
