In my early stages of planning, I had visions of a rustic sort of farm-like wedding, on a big piece of land where I could rent furniture for a reception lounge and antique sofas galore for photos. I'd go all out with the shabby chic decorations everywhere. My dog and my parents' dog and anyone else's dog would be there, running around free. I love dogs and I'm so sad my dog can't be at my wedding lol. In a perfect world he would be, and he'd somehow let everyone else eat and poop far away from everyone or not poop at all. There would also be lots of lawn games.

In my other wedding fantasy, it'd be a (classed up) carnival theme, and there would be a (functional) merry go round and Ferris wheel, a bouncy castle, and any other sort of fun carnival ride/games.

My real wedding? It's at an english style tea room. It has a gazebo to have the ceremony in, but it doesn't have a lot of land for lawn games or dogs of course. The reception is inside I'd love to have everything outside.

I honestly always thought that I would have my wedding in someone's back yard and my dad and uncle would roast a pig and it would be just one big party. And then I got engaged and it was like oooo look at all the fancy venues and shiny things and i got distracted and now, somehow my wedding has probably tripled the amount that it would have if I would have stuck with my plan. Oh well. It's going to be a blasty blast
