I would describe my FH as love. We have been together over 4 years and have been through the best and worst of times but he has always been there with love for myself and my kids. I would also describe him as my rock, the surface on which I can stand and build my home/life on with no concern of shifting sands or sinking mud.

He loves me despite my intellectual disabilities and supports me in my activities. He is a high school sports journalist, which requires him to work on the weekends, but he tries to make it to at least one game for each Special Olympics sports season that I compete in. He encourages me to maintain my friendships and to continue my involvement at the organization that has helped me over the years. He could have picked anyone to be with, but he fell in love with me; issues and all! I love my husband!
