Zola Invitations

Gabby, on July 8, 2021 at 9:47 PM Posted in Planning 0 7
Has anyone used Zola for their invites? I'm trying to figure out how to add our rsvp qr code to the details card but I'm not having any luck.

We thought about it but decided to go with Minted since the pricing really wasn't that much different.

Is your QR code like a photo that you can upload and save? If so, then that might be your problem. If the design you picked doesn't have a spot for a photo to be uploaded, then you won't be able to. Their editing tool doesn't have an option to add a photo box either, only a text box, which you won't be able to add a photo or attachment to.

Yes the QR code is a picture I would have to embed. Can you put pictures on the minted invitations? I really like the ease of the qr code for people to rsvp. We're only doing online invitations

We're only doing RSVPs as well, and yes you can! They have several layout options to add a photo/details to the back of your invitation. I know a few of them have a spot to add a photo, then a text box underneath. It does add a little bit to your total, so be aware of that!

Gosh I'm dumb hahaha, I forgot you were talking about details cards NOT invitations. I looked at a few really quickly and didn't find any that you could add a photo to the back of Smiley atonished So I wasn't any help at all actually! I'm sorry!! But you can def. add the code to the back of their invitations.

The only other thing I can think of is going to Canva.com and creating a free design which will let you add your QR code. You can then download it and go to Vistaprint or another site to print them off there! That might work?

    That's a great suggestion!

We're completely designing our invites on canva and using Zazzle because they have invite templets that let you upload all your own designs.

We went with minted but we used Zola for online rsvp by creating a wedding website which has been amazing. We didn’t end up doing traditional rsvp with stamps and honestly, nobody missed it. We got fast reply’s and everything is organized via Zola.
