Zola or Minted for Invites/website???

Eob, on February 27, 2022 at 6:34 PM Posted in Planning 2 9
Who have you chosen for your invitations and wedding website? I’ve also priced The Knot, but it doesn’t look like they have websites that match their invitations. Any advice?

We’ve been on the fence about a website since our circles would not access them. The only one we liked is Withjoy.com is free and very user friendly, which we may use for online rsvps. However we don’t intend to have matching invitations.

We used Zola for our website and Save the Date postcards, and Minted for our wedding invitations.

The only reason I want a website is so I can text a link to guests and that will take them to a form to fill in their address! And then the website will address all of the envelopes for me!!! Looks like Zola does that. Mint makes it too hard.

I used the Knot for our website and the invites were from Zazzle. The styles were not an exact match but they were pretty darn close. The website was easy to use for guests and also easy to edit for me.

I have actually just received our invitation samples from both sites. I love the ones from Zola. The save the dates, will most likely be a post card style photo from our engagement shoot. I'll order those through Google photos.

I did Minted and have been super happy. Our Save the Date's were great (lovely foil, easy address labeling/gathering system, nice heavyweight paper) and so is our website. I don't love the aesthetics/branding all over Zola, which is why I gravitated towards Minted. I'm getting our table numbers/place name cards/favor stickers from Minted as well and have loved them all so far.

We used zola which has been great so far. We did our save the dates through them and they were great quality, we're going to be printing our own details/rsvp cards, but buying the actual invite (with addressed envelopes) from zola as well. I ended up just making a spreadsheet of our guests and addresses and manually input them in downtime at work, because I wanted the addresses to all be typed with no abbreviations, proper titles etc but there was an option to send a link for guests to fill in their own address. We ended up using a save the date/invite that didn't match the website but was in the same color scheme, so aesthetically they all still go together.
