Zola wedding invitation envelopes incorrect

Y'all.... please pray for me. For patience and to be calm. I don't really know the point of this post except so I can get my complaining out, and maybe some words of encouragement. I suppose to warn others too.

So long story shortish we ordered invitation envelopes from Zola. They have their own specific template that you need to use for the names and addresses to be printed on the envelopes. I filled out the template correct and got the invitations yesterday. I pulled them out tonight and was putting stamps on them. When I was 3 from the end I realized that one of the envelopes was incorrect. Instead of saying Mr. and Mrs. So-and-so it just says Mr. So-and-so. I don't even know why it caught my eye, but then I flipped through the rest of them that already have the stamps on them. They are ALL wrong. Every single one that was supposed to be made out to couple or couple and family is only made out to Mr. or Mr. and family. They left off all of the Mrs. My FH called them and spoke with their customer service and they were not at all helpful. She went into the order and she verified that we did enter them all correctly, and it was an error on their part. He asked for the order to be corrected and rushed. She said that she couldn't do anything about it now because the people in that department "left for the day". He asked if they could be started as soon as possible because we need to get these invitations out this week. She told him unfortunately there is no way to rush an order that it would be 3-5 days for printing and 3-5 days for shipping. It took 3 weeks for the first incorrect order to come. He asked if we could pay to upgrade to faster shipping and she said she would have to check. So not only did they mess up the order but they didn't offer any solutions for us to get them faster, no refund or partial refund, no free shipping on the order that was their mistake in the first place, and we already paid for and put stamps on them so we will have to buy another set of stamps. To say I am frustrated would be an understatement.

Also (and I know this part is my fault for waiting so long) our wedding is in 8 1/2 weeks and I really wanted to get these invitations out tomorrow so guests have plenty of time to rsvp.

    Oh no... I'm sorry to hear this!! I would be really frustrated too. We ordered our envelopes from Minted on the 16th and they were delivered on the 21st. If you don't have any luck with Zola maybe tell them you want a refund and order from them? Or when you call tomorrow I would definitely ask to talk to a supervisor. I hope it gets sorted quickly!

    Wow that sucks, I’m sorry you’re going through this! I would definitely try calling them again once you get the invites out. Ask to speak to a manager and ask for a partial refund.

    For now though, can you print labels with the correct addresses and stick them over the incorrect addresses? This would save you from having to buy more stamps. You could find a template somewhere and make some pretty snazzy address labels.

    Thank you!! Maybe I'll check them out. I get that everyone makes mistakes, but I was not impressed by how she "handled" it.

    I think I'm going to try to call again. And good idea! I didn't even think of that. I'll have to see if I can find labels that will cover what is on there now. Thank you!

    Yes mistakes happen. But any good company who values their customers should do everything in their power to rectify it. She didn't handle it well at all. Definitely call back tomorrow and demand a refund since you now have to pay to fix their mistake, not to mention buying new stamps. Ask to speak to someone in charge if they aren't rectifying the problem. At the very least they should expedite printing new, correct labels and pay to have them overnighted to you. No reason they cant do that.

    That's exactly what I was thinking! She literally didn't try to help at all and my FH was extremely pleasant all while I wanted to rip her a new one. Haha! I'm going to call back tomorrow for sure. Thanks for making me feel like I'm not crazy for being upset!

    This is terrible! Definitely follow up with another phone call tomorrow. If you don't get anywhere with a timing that works for you, I definitely think the label idea is a good back-up. Not ideal for you I'm sure but at least your guests will get invites! Hopefully this is your last hiccup Smiley heart

    Zola sent me the wrong envelopes completely! Like different couple’s name in the return address and everything . They were already late. I’m so upset!

    I have a better one….we got our wedding invitations from stylishwedd.com….mind you beautiful invitations but the envelopes to send out the invitations to our guests had no addresses on any of them. Couldn’t get in touch with them at all. Complained to my bank and got a refund. But so how they have good ratings. Don’t know how.

    Just breath and be patient, things are going to go wrong. But things will work out. My aunt gave me that piece of advice.
