Zola Wedding Website URL

Ashli, on November 1, 2017 at 4:48 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 10

Can this be changed if you are using a third party for a website, such as Wedding Wire, The Knot, Zola, etc.? Ours is www.thewebsite.com/something/somethingelse and I would like to consolidate it if at all possible, while still directing our guests/audience to the correct site.

Do you have to purchase your own domain, and if so can you still have it direct everyone to the correct site?

Thanks!

We used minted and paid the extra $20 to have a personalized url.

We are using Zola, and as far as I can tell there is no option to pay extra for a personalized URL. But I'll look again!

Merp...I hope Zola isn't the only one who doesn't because I've already got everything done and ready to "roll out." That would be a bummer.

We used the knot. It was theknot.com/us/inserthashtag here

I was able to set up a custom URL through Weddingwire. I think it sent me to godaddy and it was about $20 for the domain. we did MyLastNameHisLastName2018.com

I don't remember the exact steps, but I was directed there from WW.

We purchased our own domain (our first names.com) from godaddy and had it forwarded to WW. Worked out great.

If you have a WeddingWire wedding website you can forward your website to a custom domain!
