Zoom wedding

I attended one and I wasn't a fan. Many (older) ppl didn't know how to turn their mic on mute. I could even hear someone's toilet flush in the middle of the vow exchange 😅

We’re incorporating a livestream option to our small wedding. I think it’s smart with covid etc. But I agree mute can be an issue unless you set that in the features. I have attended showers via zoom

Look into Lovecast! That’s what we used, they have a free version and it’s just a link you send to guests. They see you but they don’t have a video on so no problem with them not muting themselves.
You can also do trial runs to make sure the sound and video works well.
There is a chat for your guests and you can read it after the event and see all their nice notes.Best part is that it saves on the streaming device you use and on the website, so you can have the video and guests can watch after the fact too if they missed your ceremony

We’re livestreaming it on on our wedding facebook page that way people can watch live or catch it later because it saves, also most of the older people in our familys have no idea how to use zoom, but they know how to use facebook links!

We're going to offer it! We're getting married in June 2021. It's an outdoor ceremony and we plan to proceed with it as planned but want to offer the Zoom option for those who don't feel comfortable attending in person.
