The Story: Emily and Tim have been dating since Tim’s sophomore year at the United States Military Academy. “She has been the most loyal and untiring best friend I could have ever asked for,” says Tim. “I am now stationed in El Paso, TX and she lives in our hometown of Fairfax, VA, where she works as an assistant general manager at a winer. She has been so supportive of me and never lets the long distance get in the way of our happiness. She is more deserving than anyone I know and I absolutely want to make sure she gets everything she wants for the rest of her life, starting with her engagement day!”

The Proposal: Tim proposed to Emily at her favorite winery. Emily thought she was being interviewed by a popular wine magazine, but was surprised when during her tour, Tim got down on one knee. After the proposal with a ring from Macy's Fine Jewelry, they were both greeted by friends and family and celebrated at the winery.
