5 Jun, 2022The story of our wedding
Danny and I first met years ago on a video game called Wonderland Online. The game’s not around anymore, but we played it for several years and eventually started dating. He would call me on the phone and text me when we weren’t online, and we were rarely every apart when we were online! Our relationship got progressively more serious, and after about five years, we finally decided to meet in person. He flew all the way out from California to meet me in Georgia. We had an amazing first date! We visited Atlanta and saw a lot of cool things! His favorite was the World of Coca-Cola! It was wonderful to meet him and for him to meet my family. We had our first movie date and our first dinner-out date, and things like that are often taken for granted by most couples; we’ve been a long-distance relationship for twelve years now, so all the little things mean so much to us. Any time we get to spend together is something we treasure dearly.
The two of us alternated flying out to see each other every few months, and we always had such an amazing time together. But the most special adventure we shared was back in 2018, when he took me to Disneyland. It wasn’t the first time we had gone, but it was my favorite! His friend had worked at the park at the time, and he was able to clear out a space in front of the castle for us. As the fireworks went off that night, Danny proposed to me and asked me to be his wife. We’ve been through so much together, so of course I said “yes”!

We were so happy to see each other again after everything started to open back up, and we could finally start planning our wedding!
We spent a while looking at different venues to find the perfect one for us, and we were blown away by the beautiful Tustin Ranch Golf Club. Soon after we booked our venue, we set a date for the wedding and worked to find our other vendors. The planning process was stressful! But we worked together, and everything came together perfectly for a beautiful wedding.
The morning of June 5th, 2022 was almost as stressful as the planning for it! My bridal party had donuts and mimosas while we got our hair and makeup done, but ended up falling a bit behind schedule. When we made it to the venue, the hardest part was to try to stay away from wherever Danny was and for him to stay away from where I was! Our photographer and day-of coordinator were so helpful in keeping us apart until the first-look, and when we did finally see each other that day, all of that stress just disappeared! I will never forget the face Danny made when he saw me in my dress; he was speechless! Everything went so perfectly after the first-look, from the beautiful ceremony to the exciting reception party. It was so good to meet all of his family and for both of our families to spend that moment together as a whole. I’m so truly blessed to have had such a perfect wedding day, and I will treasure that day, and the man I married that day, for the rest of my life.
